Buttercups!
Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 6:43AM A few weeks ago, I did some photo shoots for TruLu Couture with Lindsay of Lindsay Hess Photography. We shot at this incredibly cool "barn" a good clip south of Charlotte. I mean, it really was an honest to goodness barn, but I have to say it was the nicest freakin' barn I've ever seen. The horses were hanging out with us (even though horses kind of freak me out: big, stupid animals make ME skittish), the weather was AH-mazing and it was all about the fields of buttercups!
I'm still waiting for the photos from Lindsay (foot tapping impatiently) and I don't want to blow her wad, or mine for that matter, so I'll only give you a few snippets of the photos I took that day. Consider it a sneak peek of sorts!

I thought the impromptu buttercup bouquet I made (tied with some lace ribbon from Michael's, no less!) was the shiznizzle. Oh, and I'm so loving this headband I made for one of Tabitha's brides. The wind died down for like, a nano-second, allowing me to take this shot! It was crazy-feather all over the effin' place!

I have been so lucky to have met some great folks here in Charlotte so far, photographers, make-up artists and hair stylists too! Once I have Lindsay's real pictures, I'll give some shout-outs to all the peeps involved. Don't you just love BUTTERCUPS?!?
